Polly Patrick Happy Retirement I would like to thank past and present pupils, staff, governors, parents, friends and colleagues who have made the 16 years as headteacher of William Barnes Primary School, and the last 30 years as headteacher in North Dorset, so fulfilling. I have been privileged to work with incredibly talented staff, who have also looked after me very well! I have also been delighted to share in the learning journey of so many talented children and have enjoyed sharing their energy and enthusiasm. I will miss you all, but I am looking forward to doing all the things I have not had time to do while I have focused on my role as headteacher!
